Mine did that too. Underinflated and relatively hard front braking was the cause near as I can tell. I keep the pressure up on my current pair and try to maintained more balanced braking.

+1 for the Wunderlich Bars. No hassle servicing. Just make sure that BMW Santa Cruz double checks that all the hardware ships out with the bars. Some hardware was missing when I received mine.
