Took a ride to galveston with 3 other bikes along the coast about 180 miles round trip.
Mpg is up to about 32 from about 27 so I think getting fuel sending unit did the trick

I had a similar issue with my 883 sportster
Then I found my vtx1800 for $5000

Put her in the shop for inspection rear tire and replace the fuel sensor - think that will fix he mileage issue.

I loved the 06 RK I rode - but they also had an 02 vtx - for5k out the door - once I rode it and loved the power and comfort dn near as comfortable as the 06 rk but no heat or vibration none.
