Laugh GL vs Wolfman.... GL is tough enough

I can attest to the durability of the GL. This summer I did the GDR, and dropped the bike (F8GS) no less than 30 times in all kinds of stuff. No Damage to the GL. I credit this to the Cordura cover...

I have ridden the F8 to Alaska.. and back to Houston via the Great Divide Trail. There is no way the larger bike would have done the GDT. For solo trips NOT on too many...

You are right! I used the GL on a 2 month trip to Alaska and returned via the Great Divide Trail aboard my F8;
issues:
1) No outside storage for stuff: ie water bottle, spare tube etc.. stuff...
