Yup. I had that problem when the bike was brand new and it was fixed under warranty. The issue was that the spacer between the ignition cover and the case was warped.

I just started the bike up and to me, the pmb end cap is quieter than the stock sxf. Not by a lot but definitely quieter. The stock sxf had a distinct 4 stroke brap and now it's dulled a little.
