I changed my diaphragm spring to the higher rated spring because the engagement felt a little weak to me with the stocker. It's a little harder but I can still pull the clutch with one finger.

It's weird, the 42 seem to be the best all around pilot jet for the 450/525, even at altitude. It's not like one make a big difference over the other performance wise,. The mileage improvement alone...

All the 2T transmission oil needs to do is lubricate the bearings, be friction plate friendly and keep the gears from wearing. Beyond that it's smoke and mirrors. ATF does both those things very well...

You can roll over knarly obstacles w/o having to feather the clutch while negotiating the terrain, it's one less thing to worry about. Tends to make some riders very lazy about shifting though.

I imagine a KS retrofit would be an easy retrofit but I feel better knowing it's there, I carry a small battery I can energize the fuel pump with but the KS is still required in that situation.
