Not trying to start a new tire argument, but has any one tried the Heidenaeu tires on their DR? Lots of good reviews on the big trailie threads. Probably gonna try them on my Super Ten this summer....

My KLR's were notorious for approaching "tankslapper" conditions. Easiest fix I found was to either loosen your grip on the bars or take one hand off. Always worked for me.

How does a Dunlop D803 radial compare with Michelin radial. The Dunlop is new, 2005 vintage. On a Scorpa 4 stroke. The original Michelin is cracking and tends to leak.

I've had both shoulders repaired and still ride dual sports and trials bikes and I'm one of very few 70 year olds out on my Cannondale mountain bike riding singletrack. Re-hab and go for it!

Check out Roxspeed risers. They raise and rotate the bars forward. Different sizes and heights available. Thumpertalk store has good prices. I just bought another pair for new CRF250.

If the motor will rev up but speed doesn't increase when in gear, then you probably will need to replace or at least remove and clean clutch parts.
A lot of automotive oils now contain additives...
