I think we need to devise a custom HONK pattern that means "Hey, this arse in front of me is texting"

Maybe a b-beep beeeep.

If it could catch on it would be a way for adept drivers to shine...

University of Gravel Roads

I went to one of Rene Cormier's presentaions about his RTW ride. His opinion was that the best parts of any adventure are the tough times. Instead of spending endless months prepping we should look...

Nope...

There's very little in the typical first aid kit that's going to save a life. If an accident is serious enough to need serious first aid there's not much sutures or bandaids or cold packs are going...

Schwabb

I've seen a number of overlander blogs that recommend the Charles Schwabb visa card. I've got it on the knowledge document I'm compiling but haven't done any specific homework/research on it yet....

On the other hand I think I'll just stick to a protein bar... cold.

Lots of Crosses

I rode from Barstow to Fort Irwin on a wild Google chase one day. Maps.google said I could ride through the base; MPs said otherwise.

I was heartsick to see the number of roadside crosses along...

What you get for your money...

Someone to lead you (by the nose) on rides.
Your choice of their choice of breakfast.
A comfortable room you won't spend any time in.
3 days to hang out with Jimmy Lewis (or a like facsimile).
