I have already removed the gas tank, fuel cock and valve covers.
Is it easier to remove it with the magneto cover on the bike?
I could remove it and drill the plug out but I'm concerned...

My inspection plug won't come out.
I stripped the 10mm hex hole.
Is there another way to do the valve lash inspection?
If I can't do it another way, I will remove the magneto cover and replace it...
