Rain gear
I have Nelson Rigg two piece rain gear, I've ridden 8hrs in pouring rain and stayed dry. The two piece suit I have comes with removable armor,and a great 3m reflective pattern.

Hondo, I have Ricks KLR, but he still has the Supermoto wheels as far as I know. Pm him,he was trying to sell them a while ago. Note that you can't hook up the speedo as the front is a 17in. rim....

The thing I forgot
I forgot my winter gloves on my last trip in September. The weather wasn't suppossed to drop far enough to need them.Wrong....I left Front Royal Virginia at 6am too 42 degrees and fog.Man I was sorry...

use straps
When you pack the bike...use straps !!!! I used some rope,and bungee cords once:cry I had a bungee snap,and end up wrapped in my rear wheel...it locked,and allmost sent me over the bars.
