That is good to hear your travels down the peninsula was good and the ferry too as I am now in Oregon on route and heading south to do the same thing.

The rear fender was meant to be on a Harley hardtail so it needed a little filling in then cut to shape

Here is a photo of the rack sitting on the bench,a one piece unit that is held in position with 3 bolts on each side.Once bolted to the struts it is very strong

Time to fit the pack boxes,the bottom mounts sit on the side rack bottom tube and the top mounts hang over the top tube.They are held in place by a rod and pin.It takes a lot of dinking around to fit...
