GT_AIR Initial impressions.

Just purchased a new GT-Air. Previous helmets, Arai Vector and SHOEI RF1000. Just getting used to it, but here are my initial impressions. Overall,
a nice helmet, but I am not in love with it, at...

Clutch switch just might be it.

I was having the same problem with my 08 GSA this past winter and to
make matters worse, my clutch switch wasn't working. When the engine
randomly stalled as I was slowing down / stopping, I had...

No Comparison

I do a lot of two-up including dirt as well. As much of a motorcycle freak that my SO is, I doubt she will ride with me either until I got the Wilbers back since
they are the only shocks I have. So...

Finally - the Tourance is mounted!

I finally got my "ducks in line" and had time, so I took another shot at getting
the stubborn Tourance to mount / seal.

I purchased a gallon of Ru-Glyde and a compressor fitting to allow me to...

I guess my Wilbers might be due :)

I have 6 years / 80K on my Wilbers / 2008 GSA. I just started noticing the
rear shock is a little soft ( when riding 2-up ). I was hoping to hold off
the rebuilds until 100K, but I may need to...

Sorry, didn't mean to leave folks hanging......

Haven't got to trying again yet. I figured I had 1000 miles easily left on the "temporary" Tourance I put on, so I am doing my best to use those up. I picked up the connector for the compressor...

I "second" the Nelson-Rigg half cover

I use my Nelson Rigg half-cover year around. The first one wore thin ( literally )
after 3 years of significant use. Replaced it with a brand new one for $35 and
should be good for a few more...

Jim,

Excellent tip ( another one I will try to remember ).
I didn't intentionally "center" this tire, but from what I remember, it was pretty well centered each time I went to air it up. I think...

Yes Liz, you are making perfect sense.

I think the valve head change may be the missing link. Not ready to try

Bad Tourance or technique?

This past week I removed the worn rear Tourance on my 08 GSA and
attempted to mount a new one. This is the 4th rear Tourance I have
changed on this bike and until now, never had a problem.

I got...

Pazzo (replacement - yes, upgrade - no )

Weiser LED

I installed the Weiser LED turn signals in my 2008 GSA.

"Plug and Play", definitely brighter than stock, look better and should last a lot longer.

I highly recommend them.
