Grady's connected to the tub with a harness, via bolts in the trunk with a short traffic lead from behind the seat. Got the camera from the house, and the darn lens fogged up on me - salvaged as much...

Yeah, I can see that UDF getting old after a while - and it's not just at the pump; while 'driving,' I even have people pull up next to me, matching my speed and gawking...

Scala Rider

The wife and I use the Scala Rider Q2 for bike to bike communication, using the provided earphones and microphone in our helmets. I also pair my phone to it when I feel like it, and that works fine...

We had Sprint, Nextel (pre-Sprint purchase), AT&T Wireless/Cingular/AT&T, Alltel, and Verizon.

Sprint sucked outside of towns. Nextel did as well, although the nationwide PTT was a neat feature.

Set up two: a password-protected one with my messages and tracking (family only), and a "public" one with tracking only...

Would be nice to be able to choose how many days/hours back messages...

Obviously, the 'news.com' article I quoted overstated the feature somewhat... Big deal that I can now transfer one waypoint at a time to my GPS! Sorry for creating excitement :cry ...

It worked. Put the new battery in and ... she started with no problem!

I did call the dealer (BMW Motorcycles of Omaha) this morning and, even though they are officially closed on Mondays, they called me back w/in 30 minutes and gave me a new battery under warranty....

Thanks. I talked to the mechanic at the dealership, and he said the same thing. He doesn't know why that is so - doesn't make sense to anybody - but he has had multiple customer complaints...
