Testing for Ethanol in Fuel
I know of two ways to check for ethanol in fuel. I use an aircraft fuel tester. You can get these online for about $5 or just stop by a small airport and buy one. Make sure it’s marked in ounces....

As far as getting both feet down I just tell people you can only fall over one side at a time and that's the foot you need on the ground. Works for me on my KLR and I'm only 5'6'' on a good day. :)
