It's ok. I have the halogen model and the low beam is a little weak but the spot is nice and bright. I love the weight savings, though I may switch to a single round lamp in the future.

Thanks, yes it's the X2. Wind protection is definitely less and I'll probably make a larger screen for longer road trips but I think the weight savings justify it. The bike handles completely...

Remove the head and put it upright on your bench. Then fill the areas around the valves with oil and let it sit for a little while. If you have a leaking valve stem seal you should see the oil...

I had the head ported and added 1mm oversized valves. Between the 705 kit, carb jetting, exhaust and intake mods it's a totally different bike. I honestly can't even imagine going back...

I put Ricor's in my KLR forks a couple months ago and noticed a big difference on the street. The front end feels more planted and stable in turns and my confidence level in the bike has gone way...
