I replaced the hall sensor with a rewired one that came with the bike. Both bench tested working. So who knows. I will cut back the wires on the one that was in the bike...

No I do not have the chokes or enrichers on the bike. I am assuming somewhere between when I got it and 35 years ago the carbs must have been changed. They are the older style with tickers.
