The p1x powertip totally worked, too. Made a big difference (to me, anyway) in terms of noise. I can now even ride without earplugs if I want to. :evil

Thanks again for mentioning this, I didn't know it was an option. I'm going to pick one up from a local shop tomorrow. If it works as it says I won't bother putting the OEM muffler back on.

Thanks, it looks like there's a part from Two Brothers that helps tame the exhaust a bit ($30). I'm getting a free OEM muffler from a guy on Saturday, if that doesn't work out (without much trouble)...
