Mate, that's the best write-up I've seen for the GS, and second only to the song of the sausage creature.
You put so much rider info of the bike into a really well to read and detailed and varied...

The autoswitch (http://www.autoswitch.com) is great. I used one on my R11GS for a year without any problems. Since they were about 10x the price in Oz as in the USA I bought 2 - one for the radar...

Only disadvantage: Riding off road the tankbag gets in the way...
