Check the adjustment and operation of the micro switch on the brake handle. It can cause the symtoms you described.

You should also have a fill plug near the sensor hole. The brake rotor flange is made out of steel instead of alum. no more cracking. Mine didn't have the vent installed. Should be good for many...

Experienced the same thing when my 06 GSA FD crapped out. Your dealer sold you the wrong FD. I ended up with the upgraded FD and the correct sensor in the end.

The 08 drive's speed sensor will not work with the 06 servo brakes. ABS and the speedo use this sensor and they are different. My 06 drive crapped out 2 years ago and I ended up buying a new one...

2006 GSA FD failed at 36000 miles. Bevel gear bearings destroyed, no wobble or fluid leaks. Only indication was lots of metal in the oil. $1800 for a new one!
