BMW factory had option to tack weld / spot weld the weights in place. They also could have welded the ring gear to the flywheel my previous problem...

I don't take those spark plug torque values seriously or the exhaust -- sounds much too high. I remember trying to tighten my exhaust nuts but never got higher than 40lbs. No need to tighten that...

I did check the ring gear with a screwdriver. Clutch rattles a little. Noise seems to be coming from front main bearing.

I tried cranking the engine but no noise coming from chain or sprockets....

No noise does not change significantly clutch in or out. but there does seem to be some rattling near the clutch plate. 2 years ago I did have the rivets that hold the ring gear and flywheel together...

R100 nikasil barrels ( approved by machinist as good )
