So my bike sounds to have the same problems fishyhead's did (the rad reservoir was melted at the bottom from excessive heat off the exhaust out the head).

Yesterday I was able to remove the dowels, clean it out, clean the cover and used some red RTV gasket sealant. Just waiting now for it to dry. fingers crossed

Definetely not the weep hole. Leakage is coming from the seal somewhere. I couldn't figure out how to remove the dowel rods, I think a bit of my previous gasket is in those holes next to the dowels...

Upon further inspection, the water pump looks to be in decent shape, and the nut wasn't loose, but the gasket is gone. Also, the coolant reservoir WAS melted at the bottom, thank you fishyhead.
