I've done 1000 miles on interstate 5 from Sanfran to Whistler in one go. But I normally call it a day at 700 miles.

It could still be the KACR. The spring on mine got weak and the KACR would start making noise at 1000 RPM and then disappear at about 1200 RPM. I just tightened up the spring and the sound went away.

I rode my motorcycle to Whistler yesterday, I had a checkpoint pass but didn't need it. They just waived me through. I guess motorcycles aren't a concern for parking so they just let you go.
