I was/ am in the market for an R1150gs Adventure and stopped by my local dealer. They've got an '07 on consignment w/ 80K miles for $6500....

Bears generally won't bother you unless you provoke them or have food improperly stored (ideally hung 10-15 in a tree- 50 feet from your campsite).

Have solo camped/ hiked in bear country...

Skip the Midwest-- especially Indiana-- pretty much flat all over

Just my POV-- parts of the midwest are gorgeous-- but many others are just not. Take Indiana-- it's cornfield after cornfield-- might be worth skipping that state :)

LOL-- very funny. Yup was pulling the clutch-- looks like it maybe the clutch switch. I'm going to pop a new one in next week and see if that remedies the situation.

Hey All,

Having some difficulties with my 2001 F650gs w/ 16.5k miles and wondered if anyone's had similar issues.

I can't seem to start the bike when it's in gear. This started a day or two...
