Silicon RTV gasket

I have used Silicon RTV sealant for gaskets with no major issues. Yes, I should use real gaskets, but I get inpatient and RTV sealant is cheap and easily available at the local car parts store.

I am also curious how legal it is to follow power lines also. There are a couple in my area, they are fun to ride, most are not gated, no signs, etc... A couple of them are signed, gated, and fenced.

I spray my chain about once every 1,000 miles OR everytime they are exposed to water. Crossing rivers, riding in the rain, giving the bike a bath, etc...
