condenser?

Hi, just a thought, if it starts ok but misses under load check the condenser, easy to swap a new or used one - if the points are arching its a good indication that the condenser is going

Sorry to state the obvious but after checking the valve clearances on one cylinder did you rotate the engine to get TDC for the other cylinder?
