Don't go crazy with a high volume fuel pump. My old Kawi Mule uses an electric pump to supply the carb. When the $125 stock pump went out I replaced it with a cheap $30 pump from Auto Zone. Works...

The brace modification was for clearance of later motors swapped into /2 frames. Not sure if swapping the Earles to a later frame will need the same mods.
