Right, that's what I understood. From what I can tell the difference between an ABS equipped bike versus non-abs is actually the sensor which is attached to the Final Drive. I *think* the ring on...

I don't think the above is correct. The HP2 Enduro has a 31/11 final drive which is 2.82 and the GSA has a 32/11 which is 2.91. The 3.0 (which I would like) is available from Max BMW but only if I...

HP2 Enduro Final Drive Compatability

Folks,

My HP2 final drive bit it after ~20k miles, I've got about 1.5mm of rear wheel play and had the rear wheel lock up while coming to a stop the other day.

I'm looking at options and am...

Geez... a few years and I have hardly ridden the bike since. I had the fortune to pickup an HP2 shortly after I did all this and as a result the 1150GS has sat idle a lot.

That said, I do like...

I used a hack saw to cut through the bolt on the right side of the shock. Once you've got the shock out it's pretty easy to get the remaining piece out.

I would replace it if I were you. I had the same thing happen on mine except mine fractured from the stress. Order a new bolt, they're cheap and come with the loctite already on them

UniFilter and pre-filter on my HP2, they work amazingly well. The prefilter keeps out 99% of the dirt and I rarely if ever have to clean the main filter.
