Not an off-shoot, main route from AFH to ACH going past the road that leads up to Pacifico. One of the previous posts said it opened early last month.

Ham Radio

I think a Ham Radio is much more valuable on the trail than a cell phone. I always carry both... yes, "just in case."

I've heard the washout on 3N17 east of Pacifico is fixed but the road is still closed.

If anyone wants to go a little earlier, we (unrelated group) are meeting at Jays Shell in La Canada at 6:30...

Washout Not Fixed

Update: We rode to the washout on 8/20/2007 and the trail was not repaired. Not sure when they are going to get around to it.

SCD is possible

Hi Guys, first post here. Bought Mr. Mike's BRP last month. Took it on my first ride Friday, 6/8/07.

The 3N17 wash out trail was about 4" wide in some parts, carved by hikers boots. Too narrow...
