I commute 45 miles each way on mine, 2-3 times a week year around. 90% of that commute is 70+ mph or so. It's perfect for what I do and I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Yea, I'd ask what you're trying to accomplish with HID lights. The Strom has better lights than my car, and certainly better than any motorcycle I've ever ridden.
