ECE helmets approved in Ontario ?
I read a while back that Euro spec helmets were slated for legal on-road use as of July 1.....as in Quebec. ( and BC too I believe).
There's a lot more choice rather than being limited to DOT...

Hey Jim,
I went through the same thing.
All-day rain, temps in the 60's, and my feet felt soaked ! (boots were barely a year old)
I experimented and determined that it wasn't leakage from outside...
