Mechanical Issues
I too have a 1200 GS and have been thinking about India. My only reservation is if anything mechanical went wrong with the final drive or anything else for that matter, is anybody there able to fix...

Tank Bags
Folks,
I just destroyed the zipper on my BMW-brand tank bag for my 08 GS. Time to replace I guess. What is the current thinking out there as to good tank bags?

TT Accessory Bar
I bought one of these and started to install it. The screws on my GS are painted tight and ended up stripping them. I have to reverse them out and try again.

Please leave them at home. Its not as if bears are standing on the side of the road licking their chops. Be bear smart and you will be fine. Bangers are good, pepper spray as well.
