This was my exact list. My buddy/dealer/GS guy says Contis for long trips because they have great mileage and K3's for everything else. I got K3's.

My '13 LC came with the T-Nexts. I got the dreaded head-shake at 4K miles. It drove me crazy and I swapped for Karoo 3's at 7K. Good luck.

That happened to me between my 600 and 6K mile services. I mentioned it to the dealer but they were unable to reproduce. Has not happened in the 3K miles since the 6K service.

I notice a very slight bit of hunting on grooved roads with my Karoo 3's Lessening as they wear in a bit. Has not proved to be an issue on any road surface. Have not done a bridge yet.

+1. This solved the getting my toe under the shifter, but I still contacted the nub on the sidestand. Installing BDCW pegs completely resolved that. All good now.

As this thread has taken a skivvie direction I will be specific. Try "Mypackage" brand. I prefer the "weekend version. Does truly make all the difference for long distance riding.
