hi all

just wondering , does any one know if i have to remove the carrier of a dl1000 to fit a ventura bag rack.

Im hopeing i dont need to but there looks to be 2 different types of ventura...

What about that little filter in the fuel line, where the bend of pipe goes in to the carb
take the fuel hose off at the carb end and youll see it .

Thanks for that , im going to replace the float and snorkel so i have piece of mind that theres nothing else to be altered first.

BTW i could get to nelson this week if that would fix it ...........

the pilot jet (stock was reinstalled) so only thing different is that hole in the slide...

yeah the bike seem to run almost sweet , you can tell its rich riding it .

Id guess the jumps , theres no way i can see how hitting a roller connected to a bolt will crack a frame.
the frame is so solid and i doubt there would ever be enough vibration or movement in that...

12.5mm isnt5 bad on the front for more preload, if you go to much it just gets springy.
preload only adjusts the initial start of travel , you really need heaver springs to really adjust the bike....
