Anybody upgraded the muffler?
If so, want to sell the stocker?
My riding bud (who blew the end cap off) is looking for a used stocker.
If you have a take off for sale please email him direct at mikesnick@mac.com
Thanks,
RM

The early exhaust '08-'11 450/530 did not have a screen type spark arrestor. The new '12 has screen that complety covers the ex outlet (inside the muffler) to stop the hot cinders. This type can...

That is where some of the problems have been.
Check your wire harness. All of ours are cracking where they bend. Never saw that problem on the 530. The new harness must have been outsorced. More electrical problems coming.:cry

Tough call
Keeping the 950 makes the most sence but I voted to keep the 530 only because with 7 months of winter in N Idaho, my 530 is a snowbike for at least 6 months.
The 950 makes for better road miles.

Still going.... did do new rings and valve seals at 5k only because of the WFO throttle during the winter months as a snowbike. No winter miles counted in the 7500.
Ride it and have fun.

Engine stand advice?
My need is for a single cyl engine stand. Most of the use will be KTM engines. RFS, RF4 and LC4 engines.
What do you use? What is priced right?
I searched with no good results.
