Not sure about the material that the stock...

Not sure about the material that the stock screens are made from , but I have had good results in the past cutting windshields down , then rubbing the edge down with acetone , which slightly melts...

If you get the "regular" Mitas E-07 rear , instead of the "Dakar" version , it will be more forgiving to wrestle on. Regular is 3 ply , Dakar is 4 ply.
