Seems to me you already have a single track bike. The Sherpa is a great little dirt bike that crosses over to the dualsport world. I've been around a couple of guys that took them everywhere.

You can try listing it on Spokane/Couer D'Alene craigslist. Bikes and cars seem to be listed for top of the mark here compared to say, Boise. Also the type of riding you mention is plentiful here.
