I had the 650R, but I think the 600R is a better...

I had the 650R, but I think the 600R is a better "best of both worlds" bike. It is light, feels smaller, good turning circle and over there a lot of spares still available.

When I spray carb cleaner where the airbox mounts the carb :rofl it does die, from where the airflow comes. But except for sucking in dirt bypassing the air filter, will that influence the idle? ....

Steve, what would cause it to idle fine for a while, then change idling to be erratic, than back to normal? Rubber mounts leaking? What else can you suggest?

I see on the 650R the sprocket "meat" must face away from the motor, I made mine facing the motor. Also had to persuade it to go on, but compared to the previous 600R sprocket I'll take that anytime....
