I have owned many bikes, but the only bike I ever bought twice is the GS. I currently ride a 2012 GS and I think its the best overall, all around bike. :clap I'm happy .

Small starting problem

This is most likely nothing but, when I start my 08 990 Adv when its cold (not been running for hours) she fires up, and idles properly. Then after 10 - 15 seconds she cuts off. Push the starter...

Like RAW, I also went from a 2004 1150GS to a new 990 Adventure. I find the KTM much lighter, and tons more fun to ride. My BMW was very reliable, and I honestly would get on it and ride it anywhere....

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Bill Mayer seat with the Renazco Racing seat. I had a BMS on my 1150GS and it was the best seat I ever had. I do 90% on road, and just got a 08 KTM Adventure....

I have to agree with most. I own an 1150GS and the first time I rode one I hated it. It isn't fast, it does vibrate, and you just don't understand what all the fuss is......... until you pile up...
