I got one new in 84, sold it 11 or 12 years...
I got one new in 84, sold it 11 or 12 years later. Never had any problems with it, changed the oil and tires and that was it. Good bike, wish I had still had it. Good Luck with your find.

I like it alot, very fun bike to ride. It's not a "dirt bike" but it does handles real nice on a dirt road. It seems to get the power to the ground good, even with the street...

I traded in an 05 1200R for my XR1200, and I agree the shocks could be better, but they are a big improvement from the Roadster. I really like the XR, great fun.

Anyone License a XR600 in Alaska?
I have a XR600 Honda that I would like to title/license in Alaska. It will have all the required DOT stuff. I have heard different stories from, "no problem nothing to it" to "no way it can be done"....
