Anti-theft system battery?
I'm not certain that I remember this correctly, but I seem to recall that this means the small battery in your anti-theft alarm system needs to be replaced.

OVAD and TBS
The key to a smooth-running fuel-injected boxer is good valve adjustment and throttle body synchronization.
I also find good after-market seats such as Corbin, Sargent, Mayer, etc. to be easier...

Getting on and off the throttle in the Hill Country kills mileage and tires.
Hot Texas roads kill tires, especially the abrasive asphalt that comprises most of the best...

Is it possible that this non-linear response of the fuel gauge is a function of the sucking jet pump, which keeps the pick-up side tank lobe full as long as possible? I have read stories from 1150...

I always thought the plastic BMW stock cylinder head guards were sacrificial items, like crumple zones in cars. They break when you drop the bike, absorbing energy and protecting the valve covers....
