Mine came unpainted too. I primered and painted them orange too, but didn't mod them. Not enough time for that when I was building. I don't have a big gap in the seat anyway.

It's a Mich T63 rear. They work pretty well for real dual-sport and fairly inexpensive. Up front is a Scorpion Rally, mediocre performance, but I'm not racing and it works well enough.
