There are 3 BMW dealers here in MI, 2 out of 3 always offer test rides (not the one in Canton). That is how they got me to buy that 1600 GTL. :lol3

I got a 1600GTL after traveling with my 2002 GS for 11 years. I still have both but, the GTL gets most of the road time.

If you can, try the GW and the GTL before you decide, I did.

You didn't mention the miles/price on the 1150. If low mileage and priced right I would not hesitate to buy the 1150. I have 93,000 miles on my '02 and see no reason it wouldn't go another 90,000....

I put a 12v outlet on the dash of my '08. If you don't have the charger that came with it I discovered in my car I can use a standard USB charger and appropriate cable and it powers it fine.
