'04 Wee Strom & '07 GL1800 Owner here...
I've got 45-liter Givis are around... Top case stays on all the time. Sidecases are for camp-outs, road-trips, ect. Yes they a W-I-D-E and will touch down when pushing hard in the corners. A few more...

Windscreen & bar-risers
Were the 2 farkels that made the most difference for me. Gen-Mar up & back risers were a no-brainer. Windscreen OTOH took a couple tries before I got it right. Started with a 23" Cee Bailey... Calmer...

45-liter sidecases & top-case + 40 liter SealLine bag on pillon + 14-liter Cortech tank-bag = Over 200-liters of storage. More than I can carry on my '07 GL1800.
