Eastern Oregon 39 road washed out.
For all you noobs planning on riding through Eastern Oregon!
Over 2000 feet of the 39 road between Halfway and Joseph have been washed out on the Halfway side.

Dash chirring/buzzing sounds?

Stitch it up.
Go to a craft/sewing shop and get some nylon thread clost to the seat color and a curved upholstery needle and stitch it back togeather. you don't even need to take the seat off to do it.

Check your oil level
Sometimes when they flood gas will run in and down and starts to dilute the oil out. If your oil level has gone up it would be prudent to do an oil change as gas is not a very good lubricant.:deal

Skins are for sandy conditions
Skins work good if riding in very sandy conditions like on the sand dunes.
The ones I have used are a very fine mesh that keeps the sand from entering the foam filter pores. They are not oiled...
