The adjustable subframe looks technical. But if the length changes the angle of those tubes need to change so the holes won't line up...

Mitas E09 or E07 might be a very good tyre for your purpose.

Even the newer types without the brass inserts broke. The screws were a bit to long and to tight to get into the new housing.
I always shortened the screws a bit and drilled the holes a tiny bit...
