Yeah the Raptor 700 engine which is pretty similar to tenere 660 mill is 115 lbs while the lc8 950cc v twin is 123 lbs just as an example.

Definitely a twin, the head is the width of the frame rails not to mention the width of the engine case itself and the massive distance between the header and size of the piping..

Well really all the extra bits only weigh 29 lbs more than an ABS equipped MT-09 which is 421 lbs and then 4 liters of gas which is the extra 6.6 lbs comes out to 456 lbs.

WRR is also 1.5l it also says 1500cc on the side of the engine. Perhaps the KTM multiple plug setup allows more oil to be removed during oil changes, whatever the capacity they are both excellent...
