My experience exactly. Maybe it's just my bike but the bike doesn't handle on/off throttle conditions too well either. The fueling is really the only thing I don't like about this bike.

I don't think you need to worry - Peter seems to know these bikes as well as anyone here. The wiring diagrams for the F650 and G650X look almost identical.
