Yes right. It is not two up tires or specially well suited for the 1200GS.
BUT fits HP2 as clockwork! And yes I use them with tube.

PS I really wont use the karoo anymore. Lost grip all to fast...

If you do any real offroad I really recommend Michelins T63
130/80-17 back and 90/90-21 in the front. Performs very well both on and off road. And the the T63 are also very popular for winter use...

I use, and love the Michelin T63 130/80-17. The T63 and the T644 Army Special in the front are both used with tube.
The HP2 in front of me uses TKC80 140/80-17, which I dont think is any better...
