09 GSA, 19,000 miles bearing failure and most definitely nothing to do with overloading. My 1150 GSA made it 50,000 miles and bearing failed.It will be my last BMW for sure.

My wife and I did Alaska, Inuvik etc and every time we hit a scale we were over 1200lbs. With the Ohlins we never missed a beat, it was awesome. Go for it, no problem.

I only know that the mount for the topcase can be relocated to where the passenger seat normally is. I ride like that occasionally because with the backpad its a perfect backrest for me.

I just did mine with the BMW GL5 Gear Oil. Technically you cant do both with 1 bottle. They got it figured at 29 bucks per bottle. The FD Takes 180 ml and the transmission takes 800ml. Thats 980ml....
