Don't give up on the Rick Mayer seat. I have one on my SMR and had another on a DRZ I used to own. No complaints about the seat. I have a Seat Concepts on my 530 and it does the job for cheap.

17/19" tubeless spoke wheels and a skid plate would get you pretty close. Not sure if a 19" front wheel would clear everything (oil tank, etc) if you bottomed out the forks.
