Found it :clap It was a bad ground connection. Thanks everyone for your insight.I kept checking and finding voltage, overlooked the grounding.

Took my R100S out to go for a ride the other day. Turn the key, turn on engine switch, noticed the headlight did not come on. Hit the starter button- nothing. Battery is good. Started checking relays...

Yeah, it`s the 2nd white plastic gear that`s worn. The first one is on the end of the speedometer cable drive, that one is fine, the 2nd one which is on the shaft of the needle itself is worn down....

Windshield upgrade

Just installed a Cee Bailey Ultra Tour Domed Windshield on my 2011 Silver Connie.
Makes all the difference in the world. I`m 6ft tall and the stock shield produced some buffeting and wind noise....

Had a GREAT TIME at the BYOB! Good people, great roads. Overall put about 1300 miles on the KLR. Came back to Jersey the scenic route. Gonna miss those roads, Rt# 250 is a BLAST!!! Thanks to everyone...
